This campaign really took hold from two thoughts. One, most don’t text and drive campaigns are really really hard to remember. Even the best ones seem to follow a pattern - car crash & a warning. Two, this is a very morbid topic and morbid jokes resonate really well with the culprits of most texting and driving. From these two thoughts, this idea scripted and shot. Featuring the Grim Reaper and a Funeral Director, the almost documentary style to the camera interviews show us what deaths really get them going - and why we shouldn’t contribute. Death is delicious, but only to some.
